Not Broken – Full Movie

As a mother of a neurodivergent daughter (and someone who is neurodivergent herself), I wanted to share this full movie to help shed light on the struggles that my daughter likely experienced while growing up with an ‘unaware’ parent. Together we are learning about ourselves, how our unique brains work and how to change the negative self talk that we have autoplayed in our minds for most of our lives. We are beginning to now see that the uniqueness of the world should be embraced, accommodated, celebrated and emboldened. We have a strong artistic matrilineal lineage and have found our greatest joy in self expression of artistic talents.

This movie examines the life of a young woman with severe dyslexia who struggles to navigate her world and comes to understand herself as special instead of ‘broken’.
